10-yr India tourist visa - but in an expired passport & old name

I have a bit of a special case that I haven't seen addressed in this forum yet.

My mother (US citizen) has a 10-yr Indian tourist visa, which expires in 2025. This visa is in her old passport which expired in 2020. In late 2020, she changed her last name, and thereafter renewed her passport. My questions:

1. I assume the original visa issued in 2015 is still valid?
2. If so, what documents will she need to carry with her? (I've told her to carry old & new passports, and the name change certificate, as a minimum)

Yes, its still valid, as long as the person is same.

Yes, carry both passports & any official document showing she changed her name
