In-laws got 10 years visa

They had their interview on 02/14 10.15 am. 2 years back they got 1 year visa and only my mother-in-law came to US for 6 months. They asked the following questions.

1) Why my father-in-law didn't come to US first time?
A) Due to last minute office work.
2) How many months u are going to stay in US?
A) 3-months
3) How many children U have?
A) Daughter in US and son just completed eduction

Not even a single document was asked except I-156.
