One person from family missing the visa interview

Hi,

For my parents I have scheduled the visitor visa interview in September. I have been in the US for past 7 years and they have never visited me. I have scheduled the interview for Dad, Mom and Sister together. My sister is going for her higher studies in UK and she won't be able to make it to the interview. We scheduled the US interview long back and unfortunately didn't plan for her UK travel. But I would want my patents to attend the interview so that at least I can meet them after a long time. Also my sister will be on student visa in UK with her studies going on, so she won't be able to travel back to India for the interview.

Is there a problem in my sister missing the US visa interview and parents still attending it? What are the consequences? We tried to reschedule but there are no appointments available.
