dress code fo B2 visa for parents

I am sponcering my parents for visitor visa to US from India.
While appearing for visa is there a need that my father should wear pant. This might sound funny. But, my father is a village person and never wears pant but dothi.

Does the consulate general consider this OK? Please suggest?

Likewise, for mother i guess saree should be acceptable.

No dress code. Let them go in whatever they are comfortable in.
