can port of entry into USA be different ? - B2 visa

Hi

My father got B2 and the address mentioned in the visa application is chicago, US. But I will be in New York while my parents are traveling. So, can they come to New York directly ?
Will there be any problem facing the Immigration clearance in New York in such case?
