Rejection reason?

My Father's visitor visa got rejected today. How do I find out the rejection reason?

He says he was given no paper. Don't they provide some document with reason for rejection?

How can I find out the reason of rejection? Can it be checked online?

My father is not very good with understanding papers. Please help me identify reason so that I can re-apply.

There are only two reasons:

1. Missing documents.
2. Intending immigrant.

If it were #1, you would have been told to submit a specific document. If not, the reason is #2.
