A friend traveled from Brazil to the US yesterday via Miami and the officer held her for 2 hours and finally let her go.
Her intent was to stay for 5 months (stayed 5 months 2-3 years ago) but they wrote on the stamp in pen "Limited Stay - MIA - Sept 21, 2022".
Anyone have any ideas how to fight this or what we can file to prolong her stay.
Would prefer not to pay an attorney!
