Will there be an issue in traveling to the US on a valid B1/B2 visa before a scheduled dropbox/interview date for renewal?
My parents currently have their B1/B2 visa valid until mid next year. They were thinking of coming to the US towards the end of the year for a couple of months. Given the long wait times to secure a dropbox/interview appointment for a fresh B1/B2 visa, I was thinking of scheduling an appointment for whatever date is available. But I want to be sure that scheduling for the future will not negatively affect their current visa and plans for immediate travel to the US
