Father Demise in USA

Hi I am from India. My father and mother visited my sister in USA she was expecting a baby. My had had insurance he got a heart attack and could not survive.
I lost him he was life within life.
now i got medical bills of 250K of him saying the condition was pre existing but he never had a single attack. He used to walk daily for 8-10 miles.
now I don’t know what to do.
please advice what to do

I assume the bills are in your father's name.

To the best of my knowledge, in USA, he is the one legally bound to pay the bills (not his family).
