My nan never overstayed her USA visit visa ever(she is a frequent traveller to the states), until her last visit in 2021 due to a family emergency.
After coming back she got a call from a man claiming to be from the USA consulate to inform her that her multiple-entry visa have been cancelled and she might have to get a new one whenever she plans to travel.
My 1st question is- do they normally call to inform?
2nd- Can we appeal in case a ban is imposed?
3rd- What are the chances of getting a new multiple-entry visa provided the situation? (She is 70+ and never violated her temp stay).
TIA!
