Need one urgent help.
I have done MRV payment for my niece's tourist visa (B2) 3 years back. But due to Covid, her visa appointment was cancelled, and I was told that MRV receipt is valid till next 4 years, which September 2023.
By this time, my niece's passport got expired and she got new passport, So I submitted new DS 160 and trying update these details in VISA payment site. I am able to update new DS 160 for her, no issue. But I cannot change her old passport number to new one. Because since MRV payment is against old passport number, If I add new applicant entry for my niece with new passport, visa appointment payment site is asking me for payment again. BUT If I just change DS 160 for her, visa appointment payment site allows me to book dates for appointment without any issue.
So in this case, what am I supposed do? Should I simply ask her to carry old and new passport as well as old and new DS 160 confirmation page at the time of appointment or anything else needs to be done?
