Called for Visa Interview after Dropbox

I am applying for my mom's non-immigrant visa although her immigration visa app (i-130) has been in progress for past one year. I have submitted docs showing her assets in India as evidence she will return to india to continue CP processing and not file for AOS. (INS website states that it is not absolute no to apply for B2 while i-130 is pending).

My mom is 83 and she was asked to appear for an interview any business day before 10am. There are no further instructions on this white 221(g) form. It does not mention any docs to brings etc.. We live 7 hours away from embassy and I dont want to take her to Embassy and find out we missed on particular documentation. Anyone else been in similar situaiton?

Well, for B2 the onus is on the applicant to prove her non-immigrant intent. With pending I130, its really hard for your mom to prove that, unless you prove that specifically.

my mother did get the Tourist Visa despite having an I-130 petition in progress. The VO did give a hard time and if I had not 'persisted' she would have declined. Problem is that, USTravelDocs never forwarded to her the 'additional documentation' showing my mother's assets and property in India.
