Questions about French visa (proof of funding and rejection)

Hi guys! I’m applying for a student visa for France just now, and I have a few quick questions which I’ve been unable to find answers for. If you guys have answers to any of them it’d be super helpful

First I’m wondering what happens if I get something wrong on my application? For example, if I provide a document as evidence but they require more information. Would they contact me to ask for this information, or would my application just be rejected?

Second I’m mobdro kodi wondering whether i can use multiple accounts to demonstrate proof of funds? And can these be investments rather than cash? I was thinking of just including several accounts to be safe and attaching an explanatory note with them, but I’m not sure if that’s a good idea or not.
