Visitor Visa Renewal

Hello,
I am not sure if someone has posted on this same topic. My mother in law's visitor visa expires on Aug 19, 2011. My husband is going to sponsor for her renewal. We have the following questions.

1. We are inviting my mother in law and father in law (FIL's visa is till 2015) to spend the spring and summer with us in 2011. Is it safe if she comes to US by March and leaves by the end of July next year? Will she have any problems?

2. When is the right time to apply for her visa renewal? Is it too soon if we apply now (Nov 2010)?

1. Your mother in law can enter USA even on the last day of the expiry of visitor visa which is on Aug 19, 2011. So, it is safe she comes in in March and leaves by end July 2011.
2.She can apply for a new visitor visa(It is not renewal) any time after the expiry of her current visa. She has to undergo the same process as she did when she applied first time.
