Visitor visa Dropbox - no response after 1 month

Hi all , would really appreciate if someone can shed some light on my situation regarding visitor visa extension thru Dropbox appointment in Hyderabad consulate. We submitted my mother’s passport and all documents In Hyderabad consulate for visitor visa renewal on Nov 29th 2022. Till now no passport received and status also says just application received not moving at all . I read in USATravelDocs and cgi federal it takes only 1 week or so but now it’s been almost a month . Pls advise

You should email [email protected] and make sure to enter the application number (just by itself) in the subject line. This will attach your email to your case and you will get a response from an agent. In my case I had to email inquiring about passport status and they replied promptly. I did get my passport within a week.
