Please help

I am planning to bring my parents for a short visit. My father is 70 years old and is working as a consultant in an industrial explosives and chemicals plant. 1) Will he have problems with his visa because of his job?
2) It is taking more than 4 months to get an appointment in Chennai. I read in one of the visitor visa experiences that we can request for an earlier appointment.
How do we go about requesting for an earlier appointment?

Any information would really help. Thank you.

1. It is possible.
2. Not aware of any such provision unless someone has big emergency like death etc. Otherwise, everyone would utilize it and then everyone would be back to same problem again.
