  • Consulate requesting copy of credit card

Hi all, I'm applying for a tourist visa for Argentina, and one of the requirements from the consulate is to provide a copy of a credit card. This seems really unsafe to me and router login 192.168.l.l.link/ I was wondering if anyone has been asked to provide a copy of their credit card for a visa application before? How was the process and was it safe? Thanks!

You need to prove that you've sufficient funds to support yourself. If you mentioned your credit card to pay for your visit, then you need to provide copy of that card (its safe, or else you can get a new card issued with a different number, once your visa is approved).

Otherwise you can provide them bank statement showing sufficient funds for the visit.
