Should I mention H1B or GC holder?

Hi,
I am planning to sponsor visitor visa for my in-laws. I just got my GC stamping in my passport but don't have the green card yet. Should I mention that I am a H1b holder or a GC holder? Is there a benefit in using either of them?

GC stamping == Green card holder
Actual card does not really matter
