Hi,

My father is going for B2 Visa interview and knows English very well. But he is not comfortable with US accent. What if he does not understand the VO question? Can he ask for the translater? OR he can aks VO to write the question on a paper.

Please suggest...

If you need a translator, you must schedule the interview in a local language and can NOT schedule in English.

However, please note that if he knows English, it should not be any problem with the accent .

He can NOT ask the VO to write the questions on paper. They don't have that kind of time.
