Dear Sir or Madam,
I am an American Citizen, living in the San Francisco Bay area since 2000. I am writing you with regards to the passing of my mother, she passed away on July 18th 2010.
My father is not an American citizen and so he needs a Visa to be able to travel to the United States of America for six months to see me and other family members. He is also traveling with my mother's ashes in an urn, and this will then be spread out into the Southern Californian ocean. where she grew up.
I already bought him a plane ticket to come out for six months, because he want to see me for Christmas and New Years. Then we have to wait until March 2011 to visit my mom's family whom reside in the Saint Louis Missouri area. We also have to wait because Saint Louis is known for it's air flights snowed in and canceled in the winter thus, a bad time to visit my mother's side of the family.
We have tried over and over again to fill out your DS-160 forms, but your page refuses to except my dad's picture, even though it meets the standard requirements. Will you please help us in our strive to get this Visa, so that I can get my widower dad here to the states for six months?
This would be greatly appreciated, we are running out of time from what I understand... he need to go through an interviewing process and his trip is in the first week of December .
