My sister is Autistic. She is 50 years old and is married with a daughter who is now 13. We would like to apply for a visit visa to the US for my sister, her daughter and my mother so that they can attend a family wedding in the US in December.
The last time my sister visited the US was in the late 90's when she was able to get the US visit visa along with the rest of the family as the requirements were not as stringent. However things being as they are now, what would be the process and what kind of documents would be required for them to consider her visa application. Can a family member accompany her for the interview? And if so would they take into account her cognitive disablity?
