I am on L1 visa and my spouse(L2S) is pursuing studies in India. My spouse has plans to continue post doctoral fellowship in US.Recently, I got picked up in H1B lottery as well. However, I assume that she gets a research opportunity in USA starting March 2024. I am curious to know if I opt for consular notify now and activate my H1B on Nov, 2024 i.e. 6 months before my VISA expiration. Will my spouse lose the research work due to lack of EAD and quit studies...?
