Help! I'm filling out the ds160 tourist visa form for my parents. My mom gave up her career when my siblings and I were still little to take care of us. She's currently the point of contact/ handles my and my siblings properties in our country. Siblings and I all live and work abroad so my mom usually handles queries from our tenants but she doesnt get paid. What should I put in the Primary Occupation? I initially put BUSINESS but that might show that she owns the business and profits from it. She's just the person our tenants reach out to for any issues which doesnt happen often ( maybe once in every 3 yrs). She only makes sure that our tenants deposit their monthly rental on time. These monthly rental goes directly to our specific banks and we only confirm with her once money gets posted.
We wanted to show that she has responsibilities that would show an assurance that she's coming back and not migrate here in the US since I am a US citizen. To be honest, I have been convincing my parents to allow me to petition them but they dont want it. They dont want to start over again in another country.
