Urgent ( I may have a problem; Please help !!)

I am are a resident of Andhra Pradesh and my Jurisdiction falls with US Consulate, Hyderabad for my US Visitor Visa and I plan to arrive in US on Dec 21.
As there were no available Interview dates for Visitor Visa at US Consulates Hyderabad and Chennai, I have confirmed the earliest available interview date on Dec 14, 2010 at US Consulate, Kolkata. As my visa applicaton does not fall with the jurisdiction of US Consulate, Kolkata, Is my interview/appointment at Kolkata valid?

Please let me know what can I do now?
