Can adult citizen child accompany vistor visa parent through immigration check?

I plan on bringing my mother with me to USA, we will travel together on the same flight.
I am a US citizen. She has a tourist visa. She is very old and is very afraid of being alone at any time.
When we reach the port of entry, she will have to go through immigration check. Can I accompany her through the visa holders immigration line and help with the immigration officer's check?

No, you cannot accompany your mother through the visa holders immigration line. As a US citizen, you will go through a separate line for US citizens and permanent residents, while your mother will go through the non-US citizen line for visitors.
