My parents visitor visa got rejected on 22nd Feb. at Mumbai consulate
The lady officer asked following questions to my father:
Why do u want to go to US?
Ans: To visit daughter and for tourism.
What is she doing there?
Ans: she is a housewife
For how long she is there?
Ans: For 3 and half
Do u have any other children?
Ans: My elder son is here and working with xyz company and having my grandchildrens.
What were u doing as he wrote retired in the form?
Ans: I retired as a bank manager
How much pension are u getting?
Ans: I am getting Rs. 7600 per month
She rejected the visa and said the income is not enough?
She took the I 134 and the sposnor letter at the start of the interview
So, we are confused as to wheather she meant our income is not enough or was it my father's income as in our case only my husband is earning and we recently bought a house couples of months ago and paying mortgage and tax on it.
They will be reappering on April 4th and for that how do we prepare?

I have one specific question as i was preparing another I 134 as they didn't return the old one i came across a question asking Item no.9 on second page
That I have previously submitted affidavit(s) of support for the following person(s). of non, state "None"
