Visit visa to Skilled worker visa

I'm a certified chef and I wanna apply for skilled worker visa. But in most cases the employer won't offer you a job unless you have a trial (so they can see how you work first) and I live aboard at the moment. However I do have an active visit visa at the moment. My question is, can I arrange a job interview and trial whilst being in the UK on my visit visa, get the job offer(hopefully) fly back home and apply for a skilled worker visa?
