Student Visa total amount in bank account?

Hello! I am going to be applying to a few universities in the UK (postgraduate), all outside of London, and I was wondering how much money I would need in my account for a program that is 22 months in duration. Do I need to have enough money for all 22 months? Is it just for tuition or tuition + cost of living? Do I also need the money for supporting myself for the duration of those two years in my account before departure https://vlc.onl/ ? I'm confused and just trying to get it all sorted out.
