Guys anyone has managed to bypass this successfully, kindly confirm ?. I am also in the same situation for scheduling appointment in Hyderabad, stuck at "loading.. drop-off".​. sunnyv01 , bhai did manage a work around, i am just scared to try the same as there are 4 applicants in total, don't want to mess it up and end up paying the visa fees again. sunnyv01 if i click on 'yes' to the question, 'Do u have valid b1/b2 visa?' ..it works like a charm.

Hi, I was able to pass the loading page issue by selecting NO in "previous visa is expired " but now it is stuck on vfs.global page for payment. I selected VFS EFT option (I don't know what to do with the chalan form) and it generated payment details page. When I click on "Click here to pay with EFT" it takes me to the vfs.global page and shows the warning "The confirmation for your transaction is still pending." It is not refreshing or cancelling. Just stuck there from last few days. Not sure what to do. I have tried closing and starting a new application but that also gets stuck with the same warning/error. Anyone else faced the same issue?

It seems there has been a system upgrade performed on July 29th. Since then there are many glitches in the application and payment process. I have made the payment more than 3 days ago, still the MRV receipt has not been activated for me to book the appointment. I have raised the tickets and still no response. So, chatted and a phone call (had to wait 1 hr each to get to them) and the answer I got is, please wait until the support team gets to the ticket and resolves it.
The payment was through a debit card. The amount has been deducted from my bank account.
Very pathetic application and support team. Not sure, what it takes to fix a small bug of drop off screen.

It is really unfortunate to have this buggy website continually in this state of disrepair. This forum, nonetheless, has been great help.
Following some of the "advise" here, after being in the same loading loop, I clicked "YES" to if my previous visa is valid. It is not. It expired a few months ago. I was able to then quickly get to the payment screen and made a successful payment using VFS credit/debit card option. These options don't exactly make it clear. It is ok to have an expired visa within last 4 years for a drop-box qualification but the website bugs make it impossible to select that combo so I decided to click yes to a valid visa. Considered this less "risky" over saying yes to being over 80. We will see.
Now waiting for the payment to be "active" so I can schedule.
This is for my mother. I am hoping she has a smooth drop-box process and visa renewal after this. I will update here with what happens.
Update 1: The credit card payment had instantly worked but I had to go back to main page and "ACCEPT" the receipt to make sure I could schedule the appointment.
Update 2: Scheduled the appointment for 2 days later. The appointment docs clearly say valid visa or expired within 48 months so its basically treated the same. I feel better about clicking that to circumvent the "loading" bug.
Update 3: Mother was able to submit docs at the premium location just fine. No one cared for selecting YES to valid previous visa when hers had expired 3 months ago. Hoping for a visa approval now. Will post here.Last edited by itsleo; 08-25-2023, 11:52 AM.

In short, the appointment went fine today. They took all docs and no one cared about me selecting the visa was valid when it was not. The printout of the interview letter does not even have a field to indicate that. Awaiting visa processing now.

I had the same experience. Selected "visa is still valid" even though it expired, but it expired less than 4 years ago. The whole point of that questions is for them to determine if you are eligible for the dropbox appointment. We just had to work around the bug in their process without violating any dropbox eligibility rules. I was able to get to the payment page and get a drop off appointment. Went to the drop off appointment and successfully submitted them. Not a problem at all.
