    While booking the appointment, I had opted for premium delivery and had filled in the field Mailing street with only the street name and realised there was no section to update the Address Line 1 or 2 for updating the home address and realised the full address is not available at the us application home section,

    I have raised the ticket to update it, but the appointment is coming up in 2 days, so should I reschedule or go ahead and change later?

      I am facing the same issue. I was not able to go beyond the drop loading for the past 12 days. the customer support is not responding at all.

      If i select the "visa expired" to No, i am able to proceed further without any issues onto the payment page. I am not sure if I want to go ahead with this incorrect information.

        Hi,

        I too have been facing the same drop box issue. Have raised multiple tickets and been hold with customer care for hours together. Yesterday, I got lucky and managed to get one operator on chat. He himself suggested changing the response to the question - "Is your previous Visa still valid?" to Yes (even if it expired within the last 48 months) and proceed with scheduling a drop box interview. However for cases where B-1 / B-2 visa was refused but subsequently issued, he avoided commenting on whether the response could be changed to "No" even though such people were eligible for drop box. He acknowledged that there is an issue without saying when it would get resolved. He also suggested responding to that question to the best of applicant's knowledge.

        In my case the visa fee paid (before October 2022) expires this month. I'm not sure of what to do!! Is there any chance they would extend the validity of the fees till such time the system issue gets fixed?​

          Did you try to change the response to "Is your previous Visa still valid?" and try. I am afraid that would lead to falsification of data.

            Yes. Currently, you would need to answer both the questions in the following manner to be able to schedule a drop box interview.

            1) Have you ever been refused a B-1 / B-2 visa before?

            "No"

            2) Is your previous visa still valid?

            "Yes"

            Since the embassy customer care operators themselves are fine with you changing the response to the 2nd question. I guess it should be fine.

              Yes I did the same for the second question and i was able to pay the fees and schedule the appointment. this was after spending hours and hours of waiting on the customer care. I submitted the passport today.

                It works now. I dont know if it had to do with the release of quota or the machine. I tried Chrome on Mac yesterday and it worked.
