Elderly parent who cannot stay alone

My mother, who is a Canadian citizen, has no one in Canada to take care of her. We left Canada and now live in the USA and our green card is in process. My mother arrived here a few month on her Canadian passport. Unfortunately it will be nearly impossible for her to stay alone due to medical reasons without us (i.e. outside the US) for a few days.

What are our options in this case? Thoughts are welcome.
