Hi,
I am applying for a B1/B2 visa and my DS-160 is more than a year old. I am applying from Chennai, India. I heard from a friend that during Biometric, the folks at the visa center are saying that a new DS-160 needs to be generated and they are charging Rs.250 for the same. They suggested that one should have created a new DS-160 before the appointment if the one that is current is more than a year old.
Question - How do we create a new DS-160 ensuring proper process so that it does not cause an issues during the appointment?

- It does not make sense to go here - https://ceac.state.gov/GenNIV/Default.aspx and Start a new Appliaction.
- Instead should we 'Retrieve an application' and then we see a pop up with message - "The DS-160 application you are attempting to retrieve has been submitted. Select an option below and click the "Continue" button." 2 options here:
- View Confirmation Page
- Create a New Application - Is this the right option to generate a new one using old submitted information?
