Study abroad visa issues

I am studying abroad in France starting in January. My program is only 84 days so I’m not eligible for a student long stay visa however I want to stay in France for about 2 weeks longer for personal travel. With the Schengen visa I would have to leave the country just a few days after my program ends. Could I apply for a long stay tourist visa to go around this https://showbox.bio/ https://tutuapp.uno/ ?
