My mother has found herself in a complicated situation and no matter how much i ve searched on the web my question couldn t be answered
She is a Russian citizen , living in Greece the past 20 years, she has a resident's permit but still not qualified for a citizenship. It s something that we are working on and hoping to get by the end of 2024.
She wants to visit USA with me ( i was born in greece and got my citizenship 5 years ago) So i have a greek passport and i got my esta approved.
But i dont know what to do about my mother. I haven't tried applying for an esta for her , i feel like even if she gets approved somehow online i dont think they are gonna let her visit with the russian passport.
Is this something that i need to consult the russian embassy or the us embassy?
Is this something worth fighting for?
