Clarifications for B2 visa interview of parents

They had completed their ds160 in June, 2022. Got the Mrv receipt and scheduled their interview. The interview date they got for 30th October 2023
I have a few questions:
1. Do they have to refill ds160 before the interview date if there are no changes or errors and does it expire after 1 year?
2. Is the Mrv receipt procured in June 2022 valid?
3. Can they attend the interview together, as the appointment confirmation page shows the same date and time for both their appointments.

I can see their barcodes on the new us visa portal.

If there are no changes or errors in the DS-160 form submitted in June 2022, you may not need to refill it before the interview. DS-160 forms typically remain valid for one year from the date of submission.

Alright, thank you for clarifying that. So refilling the DS-160 would give a new confirmation number right? How do I update date on my parents respective accounts?
