I'm unsure about when to have my wife apply for her B2 tourist visa. I'm an Australian citizen and I'm moving to the US on an E3 work visa and my visa might get stamped by early to mid December. When should my wife apply for her B2 visa? I currently have an ESTA and don't need a visa to travel to the US. Should we make a case that we are traveling together as tourists visiting friends and family before I even apply for my E3 or should she apply with the intent that she is visiting me while I'm there on an E3 visa and travel separately some time in Jan or Feb.? She also has little travel history and I'm he sponsor
Mind you she is pregnant and we're trying to have her in the US for her delivery. Once she's here I will have her apply for her E3D dependent visa as my employer won't apply for it with my E3 application and will only do it afterwards, so the tourist B2 visa is her only option to be here in time for the delivery.
