Hi,
My parents (residing in Mumbai - and I am residing in Chicago with a decent income and am single) applied for a visitors visa at Mumbai Cosulate on 01/02/2005. They were denied the visa on Financial grounds. The officer looked at my papers (son - the sponsor) and was ok with the documents. Further he asked what my dad was doing for living? my dad replied that he has a small business and has 10-12 workers working for his small setup. Upon been asked the income he replied - that he earns 3-4 lakhs (3,00,000 - 4,00,000 per anum). The officer did not see any documents are asked any further questions, and rejected the Visas to both on Financial grounds.
Keeping the above things in mind, it would be helpful if someone would tell me what should be my next step. When can I reapply for them again -- should I wait for sometime ? and what caution I need to take when they (parents) re-visit the interview second time ? How do they convince the officer about their financial status being stable ? Is there anything that can be done from my end here ? will be asked questions like "How do you think your financial situitaion is now better than what it was at your last interview ?"
Any help would highly appreciated --
Thanks,
Umesh.
