I am a non-UK national residing in London. I am planning a trip to San Francisco (for a week) next year and I will require a tourist visa for this. However, I have a close relative (uncle) who lives with his family in NYC and is a US citizen.
How important is it to disclose this information dutring the visa interview? The family ties with them are null and void, we arent on talking terms and havent talked / seen them in years. https://19216811.cam/ https://1921681001.id/ I can provide some basic information to the visa officer, but for anything more specific (passport no, address etc) I'd have to call him and ask. I am 100% sure he wouldnt lift a finger to help.
Thinking if this will be a hindrance to me getting a visa forever? I dont see relationship getting better any time soon.
Thanks in advance.
