Indian passport holder traveling from Detroit USA to Amsterdam (on Delta) and then on to Southampton (on KLM). Same routing for return. I fly out on Dec 8 from Detroit, reach AMS on Dec 9 early morning and transit with in 3hrs to the next flight. Return on Dec 12 from Southampton and transit via AMS in less than 3 hours. Netherlands website/ KLM aero suggests I don't need a transit visa "if I don't cross international transit zone". But transiting between DL and KLM (both skyteam partners), will I be needing the transit visa or not? In effect, will I be with in the international zone at all times?
