Hey fellow travelers,
I recently booked flights on kiwi.com from Chiang Mai to Hanoi and from Hanoi to Hue. When making the reservation, they asked for my passport number, and I provided my Argentine passport. After the tickets were issued, I realized that I need a visa to enter Vietnam. If I had used my German passport (I have dual nationality), I wouldn't need a visa, saving some dollars. Unfortunately, changing the passport details on kiwi.com or the airline's website is more expensive than the visa itself.
Now, my dilemma is this: Can I pick up my ticket using my Argentine passport and go through immigration with my German passport? Will I face any international issues down the line? Is the risk worth taking, or should I just go ahead and get the visa?
Looking for advice and experiences from seasoned travelers. Thanks in advance!
