Chennai VVisa Appointment

Hi group,
I am in the process of applying for my parent’s visitor visa at Chennai consulate (My parents are planning to visit us in April). I know that I have to schedule an appointment via www.ttsvisas.com. However, since my parent's passport is not ready yet (we will receive it by next week) I can't get the appointment from ttsvisas.com.

Now, my question is this. Does anyone know the backlog for the visitor visas at Chennai? I mean, if I want an appointment, what's the earliest date that I might get? If I look at the visa waiting period for Chennai, it says 125 days! That's little more than 4 months! Is it true that we have to wait that long for the visa appointment? So if I ask for an appointment now, I will get it for some time in July or August!

Yes, the waiting time is unavoidable. Unless you have passport, you can't proceed. If they speak fluent English, I think they can apply in Delhi or Kolkatta.
