My Dad's Surname is misspelt in passport.

Hi,
My husband is sponsoring visitor visa for my parents. My dad's surname is misspelt in his passport and in all other supporting documents and in mine and my mom's passport surname is spelled correctly. They are planning to come here in march. Will there be any problem during visa interview or it is ok?

Thanks for reply, so should we submit our forms (DS-160, invitation letters, letters to consulate etc) with his original name or the one which is in passport...

The name on his passport is the LEGAL name. There is no other original unless you want to go and correct the passport.
