Hello,
My all family members have B1/B2 visas for last 10 years. (2 times approved). I have valid visa till 2027 (4 times approved). I applied for renewal for my family visas wife and 2 kids who are under 14 through waiver. my 3rd child turned 15 so i have to book an appointment for her which is on june 12, 2024.
on Dec 12th status of my wife and 2 kids who were eligible by visa waiver status changed to refused with which i thought might be for administrative processing. Then today when i logged into my VFS website they have scheduled an interview for 3 of them on Jan 5th, 2024 and their passport has been returned to visa carrier to receive and interview confirmation page says Priority:221G
Embassy: Islamabad Pakistan
Question:
1. is this normal?
2. Why they have been called for interview when they have 2 previous visas?
3. is there anything missing in application or should i take any documents along?
Any guidance in this matter will be appreciated.
