Converting B2 to F1

Hi,

I need a suggestion about my situation. I'm in vey urgent need.

I came to US on B2 (visitor) VISA for the first time. I've applied for status change from B2 to F1 before my 6 months status expires. It got approved and I've been going to school and finished 2 semisters. Now I'm planning to go to India to visit my family. So i'm getting so many doubts on my stamping.
Usually how it works? r there any chances of rejection? Can I still use my B2 Visa if F1 get rejected? What are the other options I can have? are there any chances of get the stamping done in Mexico/Canada before going to India?

Please can anyone help me out in this?
