Question about Canadian work permit visa

Hi everyone! I am moving to Toronto, Canada with work permit from Seattle and while I would have done anything to move to Vancouver which is closer, the company i work for has offices closed in that location permanently so Toronto is the only option.I wouldn’t be required to go to office so I was wondering if I could move to Vancouver and work remotely (the move is in February and I want to avoid the brutal Toronto winters).
