I am planning to sponsor my parents visitors visa to USA. My H1-B is going to expire on Jan 14 2011. My parents visa appointment will be scheduled around that time Jan 7 2011.

I have applied for extension and received acknowledgement receipt from USCIS but extension is not yet approved. Can I send acknowledgement receipt as a replacement of I-94? Pl. advise.
