  • finger printing for old visa

    hello,
I have a question and would really appreciate if someone can clarify.

My father got his visitor visa a couple of years ago. At that time, finger printing was not done. He will be traveling to US soon (for the first time). Does he have to go to the embassy to get the finger printing done?

If he travels without getting finger printing done from the embassy, I am assuming that he will be finger printed on the port of entry to US? Is this correct? Do you foresee any problems?

I would really apreciate if someone can answer this. Thanks in advance for your time.

    Regards,
    Samir

    No problems.

He does not need to go to consulate for fingerprint again.

Just buy airtickets, buy visitor medical insurance (https://www.insubuy.com) and come to US. He will be finger printed at port of entry.
