    Is 14th jan holiday for US consulate,chennai?

    Hi,

    I have scehduled interview for my parents on jan 14th but during that time there is Makara Sankranti in few places, Not sure about US Consulate,Chennai.
    They have to travel from Karnataka.
    Can someone please reply if its working day for chennai US consulate? Will be helpful.

    Based on 2010 dates, pongal is a holiday for Chennai. So if it is the 14th, then your appointment needs to be validated with VFS.
