  • Advice needed German visa

I'm planning a 114-day holiday in Europe, travelling in the Schengen Area. I know about the 90-day visa-free period, however I want to spend an additional 24 days in Germany after visiting other countries. As an Australian resident from WA, I'm unsure about the visa process. Should I apply for a long-term stay visa? Also, do I need to travel to Sydney since the Perth German consulate doesn't provide visa advice? Any guidance would be fantastic. Thanks!

Yes, you should apply for a long-term stay visa if you plan to stay in Germany for more than 90 days. You may need to visit the German consulate in Sydney as the Perth consulate might not provide visa advice.
