Ques on DS-156

Just want to confirm if it's ok for me to fill up the form DS-156 on behalf of my mother and sign on Ques#40 and send from here.

I meant in Ques#39 & 40 where application is prepared on behalf of the applicant, can the son fill the form & sign and send it from US or is it necessary for someone else in india to fill the form for her? She does not know English so can't fill the form herself.

You can fill it.

You don't have to mention that you filled it. It is generally meant if people travel agents, visa consultants etc. fill it.
